The Millennium Falcon might have looked like a piece of junk, but she’s got it where it counts, kid. Luke’s reaction to seeing the most famous starship in film history never ceases to be hilarious. But it also highlights the lived-in quality of the Original Trilogy’s technology, which was a defining feature. We were used to seeing sci-fi tech all clean and shiny, but the tech of our Rebel heroes was far from that.
