No. 10. Darth Maul’s entrance, The Phantom Menace
It was the one moment we had all been waiting for in The Phantom Menace - when Darth Maul gets to light up both ends of his lightsaber. That dual-bladed lightsaber idea sounded like the coolest thing in the world - even cooler than Kylo Ren’s three-pronged blade. When the doors of the Theed Hangar open and Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon rush towards Maul, we can suddenly forget just how bad the rest of The Phantom Menace is. (Seriously, do you realize how pointless the entire half-hour on Coruscant is?)
