We learn from Hawkguy that his name is Khufu and Kendra is Chay-ara, who have been lovers for thousands of years and are reincarnated each time Vandal Savage kills him. He feels he can protect her better than Barry and Oliver, but Cisco is skeptical since it hasn’t worked so far. Kendra, however, still has no memory of this identity and he informs her the best way to remember and be her true self is to emerge. The way to do that is by jumping off a building. Barry is adamant about not doing this, but Oliver feels they have to allow her to find herself. Eventually, Barry gives Kendra advice about finding her true self and goes with Oliver to stop Savage from getting the Staff of Horus, which would make him even more unstoppable if he got his hands on it.
