4. Surprise attack
Oliver and Barry go by themselves, without help from John, Thea, or Laurel, and Carter and Kendra to fight Savage. At first, it seems to go okay, but then Kendra is unable to attack Savage by surprise, leading to their deaths. When Barry gets the staff, he tries to stop Savage with Oliver. But when the staff begins to overwhelm them, Oliver tells Barry to run. When he finally runs, everyone else is killed while Barry speeds backward through time.
