Ferris Bueller's Day Off will be heading back to theaters next year for its 30th anniversary. The film is included in Turner Classic Movies’ new schedule of screenings with Fathom Events.
Fathom and TCM have been partnering up since 2012 to bring classic movies back to the big screen for audiences that otherwise might never get an opportunity to see them in a theater. The screenings often include introductions from Robert Osbourne or Ben Mankiewicz.
“The series allows us to bring fans another opportunity to engage with classic movies on the big screen from a variety of studios and eras allowing TCM to be the ultimate movie lover destination,” TCM general manager Jennifer Dorian told Variety.
