1. Taylor Swift

Swift definitely takes home the award for biggest celebrity do-gooder even though there really isn't an award other than the warmth that Swift feels in her heart when she helps make a child's wish come true, hugs a child, donates money to a stranger and does good deed after good deed which Swift has been known to do, especially in 2015.
Just before Christmas, Swift visited a 12-year-old girl battling cancer. The news was that Swift walked right into the girl's bedroom and spent the day hanging out with her.
Another surprise visit came when Jorja Hope, 12, found out she was losing her hearing and her only reaction was that she wouldn't be able to listen to Swift's music. Hope's twin sister set up an online campaign with the hashtag #HelpJorjaMeetTaylorSwiftSydney. A local radio station heard about the campaign and joined in to try to have Swift meet Hope. Of course, Swift came through. She took pictures with Hope backstage at the concert and arranged for Hope to be at the concert. The full story is here.
Swift continues to show her generosity with another story. This one was about her back up dancer's 13-month-old nephew fighting cancer. The dancer's family arranged a GoFundMe page hoping to raise $20,000 for his fight against cancer. Swift donated $50,000 and left a note on the page saying, “Baby Ayden, I’m lucky enough to perform with your uncle Toshi on tour. All of us are praying for you and your mama and sending so much love your way. Love, Taylor.”
It seems that Swift frequently looks for GoFundMe campaigns and donates money to those in need. You can read this heartfelt story and another like it here.
Swift also buys tickets for her fans, well, when they miss her show due to travelling issues and are devastated because they've only seen Swift sing three songs. After the fan took to social media commenting on her disappointment, Swift wrote her a cute note telling her, "If you can make it to Dublin, I will buy your tickets and I'm sorry for the travel nightmares."
In June 2015, Swift donated $15,000 to a firefighter and his family through GoFundMe after she learned that the firefighter's wife and son were victims in a car crash.
As you can see, Swift is a big mush and has a big heart. Thankfully, she has the fame and the pocketbook to help where she can. The truth is that she seriously doesn't have to, but she does and she does it a lot. She performed many acts of charity in 2015 alone, probably the most out of any celebrity out there.
Now if you aren't a Swifty already, ask yourself why you aren't.
