“Sparks Fly” was featured on Speak Now back in 2010 and this was a pop/country song that was upbeat and helped to skyrocket Speak Now to record breaking levels. Speak Now should a different musical side to Swift and how she was developing as an artist. She was more confident, was finding her signature sound and “Sparks Fly” highlighted all of that and gave fans a glimpse into what future songs might sound like.
