SeaWorld raises single-day tickets, keeps annual pass prices the same

Prices for theme parks in Orlando are getting even more expensive and SeaWorld Orlando is joining them. The theme park announced today that it has raised single-day tickets by $2 for both adults and children.

A single-day adult ticket will now cost $99, while a ticket for children ages 3 to 9 will cost $94, reports Florida Today.

However, annual passes are still $156 and the theme park is offering a $30 discount for that pass through Jan. 5. The discount is only available if you pay the full price all at once, notes The Orlando Sentinel.

SeaWorld said that it will open a new roller coaster called Mako next year. They are billing the coaster as the tallest, longest and fastest in Orlando.

The increase in ticket prices comes as other Orlando parks have raised single-day passes. A one-day pass at Universal Orlando now costs $102 for adults, while Disney’s Magic Kingdom is up to $105. One-day tickets to the other three Disney parks are $97 for adults.
