Sarah Jessica Parker is finally returning to television by reuniting with HBO. The former Sex and the City star is currently filming Divorce and the network has released a photo from the set.
Divorce has been in the works for awhile and earned a series order in April 2015. The supporting cast includes Thomas Haden Church, Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam and Tracy Letts. It was created by Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe).
The comedy stars Parker as Frances, who starts rethinking her life and marriage. She hopes to start a new life, but that’s not easy for her. The photo doesn’t reveal much of the show, only teasing Parker walking down a New York street.
Executive producers on Divorce include Horgan, Parker, Paul Simms, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan. It does not have a premiere date yet.
Parker starred as Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, winning four Golden Globes and an Emmy. She was last seen on Glee and has the movie All Roads Lead To Rome opening in February.
