Rebel Wilson thinks Kardashians are running ‘smear campaign’ against her

Rebel Wilson made it clear earlier this month that she doesn’t think highly of the Kardashian family. The Pitch Perfect 2 actress thinks that the family is now retaliating by running a smear campaign against her.

During a radio interview in her native Australia, Wilson said that she doesn’t hate the reality television stars, “but it’s just that everything they stand for is against everything I stand for.” She added that they are “not famous for talent,” noting that she worked hard to become a star.

Then, earlier this week, Oprah Winfrey defended the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars.

“I interviewed the Kardashians two years ago and I couldn’t believe how hard they work,” Winfrey told the same Australian hosts Wilson spoke with. “People don’t understand that, people think, ‘Oh, if a television camera’s just following you, then that’s just easy.’ To really create a reality series that looks like something’s actually happening, it means you have to be on all the time.”

Wilson then took to Twitter last night, writing that she is willing to debate anyone about the Kardashians and then suggested that the family’s publicist “can just stop the smear campaign against me.” Wilson added that she’s “more than over this little think and wish the K clan well... even sent them flowers.”
