Top 10 Presidential Portrayals

5. James Marshall (Harrison Ford) from Air Force One(1997): If any actor was made to play the leader of the Free World, it’s Harrison Ford. Here, the president and his entourage (which include his wife and daughter) are heading home from a trip to Moscow when terrorists (led by Gary Oldman) seize control of the title aircraft. Marshall, however, manages to escape their detection and plays a deadly cat-and-mouse game with his opponents. The film falls into some of the same traps as other action-adventure films, but Ford’s charisma and the wonderful Jerry Goldsmith score make up for that.
