Dave Kovic/Bill Mitchell (Kevin Kline) in Dave(1993): As he would later in Fierce Creatures(1997), Kline plays two roles here-President Bill Mitchell and the title character, who runs an employment agency and is recruited by Mitchell’s Chief of Staff, Bob Alexander (Frank Langella), to reside in the Oval Office after Mitchell falls ill. However, Alexander soon begins to regret his decision as Dave begins to show more altruistic behavior than the man he’s impersonating. This behavior wins over both the public and Mitchell’s estranged First Lady (Sigourney Weaver).
