7. New partner The new partner Mason has is a man named Lester Turner, who was convicted as a teenager for raping a teenage girl and forcing her brother to watch before beating him. Both survived and he was imprisoned. After moving to Texas State Prison, Turner met Mason and began to have possible feelings for him. When they were both released, Turner in 2014 and Mason a month prior to the episode’s date, they decided to continue the crime scene Mason started with his old partner.
