The Facts: Oil production on federal properties is up 13 percent since Obama’s time in office. Experts expect Gulf oil production to exceed its levels before the spill very soon. In addition, natural gas production has been on the decline even before Mr. President took office because drillers have found cheaper ways to access natural gas then to collect it form federal lands.
