“#9 Dream,” Walls and Bridges, 1974
Lennon was so good at writing surreal lyrics that not only made no sense to us, but no sense to him. We’ll never know what “Ah! böwakawa poussé, poussé" means, but it makes for a great chorus. Lennon said it came from a dream and we should all be thankful that he had such a great imagination.
