1. Slow Cooker Tennessee Honey BBQ Sliders

Just toss in these lip-smacking ingredients and let the crockpot do the cooking for you. Who doesn’t love barbecue?

Ingredients
• 1 cup Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Whiskey
• 2 cups ketchup
• ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
• ½ cup finely chopped white (or yellow) onion
• 4 cloves garlic, chopped
• 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
• ¼ cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper
• 1 tsp. Chalula hot sauce (or your favorite hot sauce)
• 1 tsp. ground cumin
• ¼ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
• 1-2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs
• Hawaiian style slider buns
• ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion (optional)
• ¼ cup garlic sauce (optional)
Directions
• Place chicken in slow cooker on high.
• In a bowl, combine Whiskey, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, garlic, onion, jalapeno, brown sugar, salt, pepper, cumin, crushed red pepper flakes, and hot sauce. Mix well.
• Add to chicken in slow cooker and toss to coat.
• Cook on high about 3 hours. Remove chicken pieces and chop (or shred) into small pieces and return to slow cooker. Cook another 2-4 hours on low. When ready to eat, place scoop of chicken on bun, add optional sliced red onion and garlic sauce, or any other toppings you like.
