In 2008, Taylor Swift released her album Fearless. On the album was a song called “Hey Stephen,” a song about Love and Theft singer Stephen Barker Liles, whom she had a crush on.
“The song is actually about a guy who I had a crush on and never told him,” she said. “So I wrote everything that I was thinking down in the song instead of telling him.”
Her crush found the song to be “the nicest thing a girl has ever done.”
