5. The Jedi are just stories
It looks like Luke did fail to bring about a new Jedi Order (unlike all the old Expanded Universe stories) after Return of the Jedi and Force users have become just stories. Rey and Finn learn about the Jedi from Han of all people aboard the Millennium Falcon.
