The Savannah College of Art and Design announced the honorees for the 2015 edition of the Savannah Film Festival. The college will toast the careers of actresses Olivia Wilde and Meg Ryan. Actor Alfie Allen will receive their rising star award.

Ryan will pick up the Lifetime Achievement Award on Thursday, Oct. 29 as her directorial debut Ithaca will be screened as a Gala event. The film stars Ryan, Sam Shepard Jack Quaid and Tom Hanks.
Wilde will receive the Spotlight Award when Meadowland is screened as the Opening Night film on Saturday, Oct. 24. Body Team 12, a documentary short she executive produced, will also be screened. This award went to The Normal Heart star Matt Bomer at last year’s festival.
Allen will receive the Rising Star Award on Tuesday, Oct. 27. He currently stars on Game of Thrones and was seen in John Wick, Atonement and Elizabeth.
The trio aren’t the only stars coming to Savannah. This year’s Conversation Series will include Brooklyn star Saoirse Ronan on Sunday, Oct. 25; Suffragette director Sarah Gavron and producer Alison Owen on Oct. 24; Dixieland star Riley Keough on Oct. 25; Tab Hunter Confidential subject Tab Hunter and Youth composer David Lang on Monday, Oct. 26; Miss You Already director Catherine Hardwicke on Oct. 27; Coming Through The Rye director James Sadwith on Oct. 29; and I Saw The Light director Marc Abraham and star Elizabeth Olsen on Oct. 31.
In addition to the movies mentioned above, Legend and Spotlight will have gala screenings. The Hollywood Reporter’s Scott Feinberg will also moderate Q&A sessions of directors of documentaries in the Docs To Watch series.
The Savannah Film Festival runs from Saturday, Oct. 24 to Saturday, Oct. 31.
