Klaus wants Hayley and Jackson to live in the compound. Hayley refuses. Elijah says apartments have opened up across the street. Hayley asks for the apartment to be put in Jackson’s name so Klaus can’t come in.
Marcel asks Davina if she killed the witches. She says he told her to use a sign of force. He says he didn’t suggest a massacre. Davina tells him to leave and then breaks down after he does.
Elijah approaches Hayley while she’s packing. Jackson is out telling the pack members to go back to their families. Elijah returns her and Jackson’s wedding rings to her.
The witches hold a ceremony to inter their loved ones into the graveyard. The son of the witch that attacked Davina says he’s going to find out how it happened and make sure everyone knows so she’ll be exiled.
Jackson and Hayley enter their new home. She gives him the rings. He puts hers back on her finger and kisses her. She says their freedom comes with a price. Klaus watches them from the window of his home.
Cami finds the detective staking out her apartment. He returns her laptop. She says she should report him. He says she’s not a suspect and he’s just watching out for her. They hear the announcement of a serial killer on the radio, including a detail not released to the press. Turns out Lucian gave the tip to the reporter he was drinking from.
Elijah tells Freya about the prophecy. Freya does a spell with Klaus’s blood to see if it’s true. She tells them if it comes true, one Mikaelson will fall by friend, one by foe, and one by family.
We return to the woman who killed the monk in the last episode. We see her sword fighting with a man who we find out is Tristan, and she, Aurora. Tristan asks her about the monk. She says she was upset that he wasn’t coming to see her and asks him to let her out. He says he can’t while she’s in “this state.” He says he’s leaving for New Orleans and she goes crazy. He injects her with something to calm her, then asks the monks to increase her dosage while he’s gone because she may be a danger to others and herself.
