Paramount has agreed to come on board the project to produce and distribute, reports The Hollywood Reporter. It’s the third time the Oscar winner has teamed with the studio, following 1999’s Election with Witherspoon and 2013’s Nebraska.

“Alexander will once again bring to audiences a uniquely original film, one that showcases his tremendous skill as a storyteller. We are absolutely thrilled to be working with him again,” Paramount CEO Brad Grey said Friday.

Downsizing stars Damon as a man who decides that his life will be better if he just shrinks himself. This is for all those people who wished Payne directed Ant-Man.

Damon’s co-stars include Witherspoon, Neil Patrick Harris, Alec Baldwin and Jason Sudeikis.

Payne is an Oscar magnet, winning Best Adapted Screenplay for both Sideways and The Descendants. His previous film, the black-and-white Nebraska, was nominated for Best Picture and Best Director. Overall, Payne has been nominated for seven Oscars.
