8. Back on the Road Again
“Back on the Road Again” was written by bassist Bruce Hall, who also sang lead vocals, with Cronin singing backup vocals. Richrath performs some great solo passages in this song. The album on which it first appeared was 1979’s Nine Lives, their ninth album which also happened to contain nine songs. The album hit #33 on the Billboard 200 and went gold that same year. Sadly, for the hard rock fans, which included Richrath, it would be the last hard rock themed album for the group.
