7. Life in Pieces, CBS - Mondays, 8:30 p.m. (then Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. after Thursday Night Football)
CBS strangely OK’d two single-cam comedies, which is unlike the network that’s home to old-fashioned multi-cams like Mom and The Big Bang Theory. And the fact is that since “America’s Most Watched Network” can always plug in a BBT repeat, comedies need to make really great impressions with audiences to stick around there. Based on the trailer though, Life in Pieces looks like a typical dysfunctional family comedy.
