In Storybrooke
Our team of heroes was desperately trying to find a way to Emma. It’s brought the hostility out of Hook and Regina. Hook tried anything he could think of, including convincing Henry to write the darkness out of her. Henry had to confess to breaking the quill. Nonplussed with this news, Hook moved straight into his next plan, which was to release Zelena and employee in opening a portal using Merlin’s wand. It wasn’t the best plan, and of course things didn’t work quite like Hook imagined.
Zelena had a pretty good plan. She wanted to return to Oz where she could be with her child alone. She wanted to be far away from Regina and Robin so that they couldn’t turn her child against her. She kidnapped Robin, then traded him for Merlin’s wand. Although she was able to open a portal (in the form of a green twister), it weakened her enough for the heroes to highjack it and use it to get to Emma.
As they prepared for their journey, Granny’s became the vessel, and Leroy indignantly insisted on joining the gang, claiming that the dwarves have been pushed to the sideline for too long now. They got there just in time for the twister to carry them away. We next see them interrupting Emma from crushing Merida’s heart. Once they’ve talked her down, they take her back to Granny’s.

Before they can get inside Granny’s, Arthur and his knights rode up. They explained that Merlin prophesied their coming and that they were supposed to reunite them with the missing Merlin. Emma and crew follow Arthur back to Camelot. Everything looked grand until, cut to six weeks later. Granny’s landed back in Storybrooke with everyone dressed in their finest Medieval garb. In walked a pissed off Dark Swan ready to punish all of them. WHAT???!!!
I was all like "NO NOT AGAIN!" pic.twitter.com/usUiFB771G — Team OUAT™ (@team_OUAT) September 28, 2015
My sentiment exactly, Team OUAT: Not again! I have to admit though, that the writers did do a smashing job making me want to know what happened rather than solely focusing on the worn out lost memory plot line. The ending scene was so good and so intense, that honestly, no description does it justice. You have to see it for yourself.
