Donald Trump’s controversial comments about Mexico are being used in a surprisingly intense commercial from TV Azteca to promote an important soccer match between Mexico and the U.S. next month.
The commercial features the part of Trump’s campaign announcement speech when he said that Mexico wasn’t sending their best across the border with the U.S.
The ad, which Buzzfeed shared, makes it sound like Trump was actually talking about the American disappointments on the soccer field.
“Our country is in serious trouble,” Trump said. “The American Dream is dead.” TV Azteca put some incredible emphasis on the “dead” part.
The ad was for the upcoming CONCACAF Cup match on Oct. 10 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
