10. Red Eye
One of Craven's later movies and one a lot of people don't even realize was directed by him, Red Eye is a surprisingly excellent thriller. The film stars Rachel McAdams as a woman kidnapped during a flight by a stranger, played by Cillian Murphy, who ropes her into a massive plot to assassinate a politician. It's a very different Craven film, more intense than it is scary, but it's an enjoyable and extremely well directed ride, at times calling back to the work of Alfred Hitchcock. Films like these were proof that Craven isn't only interesting in scaring the pants off us.
