Bowie was another center for the Portland Trail Blazers. When they took Oden, the media immediately jumped on the potential Bowie comparisons. Bowie wasn’t a bad player. However he has one giant blemish against him. He was picked second in the 1984 draft. The third pick was Michael Jordan. He’ll always be that guy. Unlucky injuries ruined what could have been an even better career.
