The wide receiver was taken by the Lions with the second pick and was a brutal bust. He had issues with drugs dating back to when he was in college and he was another in a long line of players who couldn’t deal with the pressure of all the new money around him. He played in just three seasons and caught only 36 passes. At least the Lions got their money back.
