Earlier this month, Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas unveiled a Nicki Minaj wax figure inspired by one of her poses from the “Anaconda” video, with the rapper on her hands and knees. For some reason, no one at the museum figured out that people might take try to pose inappropriately with the display and now they have to pay the price with extra security.
Minaj was very excited when the statue was unveiled, as most celebrities are when they get their first wax figures.
However, even she quickly realized that the statue’s pose was ripe for inappropriate pictures. Last week, she posted one picture on Instagram with a man pushing his face up against the figure’s back. “Ok u know da fuq wut,” Minaj wrote in the caption. Other inappropriate pictures with the statue have also popped up on social media.
On Monday, Tussauds posted a message on Twitter, noting that it is aware of the fad and they are “taking immediate steps to ensure more staff are present in this area and that the set around this particular figure is redesigned so that a picture like this cannot be taken again.”

As EW notes, the figure also came under criticism from rapper Azaelia Banks, who was surprised that they picked that pose.
As much as that woman has accomplished, they had to put her on all fours... Why not standing up with a mic in her hand ???
