6. The Wrong Man (1956)
Surprisingly, The Wrong Man was the only time Hitch worked with Henry Fonda and the film is a unique one in the Hitch canon. It is based entirely on a true story of a family man accused of robbery. While the “wrong man” was a staple of the director’s films, this one tries to be realistic in its presentation.
