Two more Dancing with the Stars contestants came forward to join Bindi Irwin on the 21st season of the dance competition for the mirror ball trophy.
On Tuesday, the ABC show announced that Victor Espinoza, the jockey who rode Triple Crown winner American Pharoah, will be competing on DWTS. He admitted on ESPN2’s SportsNation that he isn’t a dancer, so whichever professional dancer he is paired with will have a tough job ahead of her.
This morning, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter revealed that he’s also joining the show. “You ain’t seen nothing yet,” he tweeted.
“My brother was on it; he did great; and he's a great little dancer and entertainer so I saw it through his eyes throughout that experience,” Carter told Us Weekly. “And there's a lot of competitiveness in me and I think there's a little something inside of me that says, 'Okay, I'm going to go there and represent the Carter name and do even better than what he did!'”
Carter isn’t the first boy band member to join DWTS. *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone competed during Seasons 4 and 15. Carter’s younger brother, Aaron Carter, took part in SEason 9.
On Monday, ABC announced that Irwin, the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, will also compete during Season 21.
The new DWTS season kicks off on Monday, Sept. 14.
