Of course we’re talking about Josh Hamilton. Our No. 1 moment has to go to Hamilton’s 2008 Derby performance at the old Yankee Stadium. The outfielder put on such a show hitting 28 homers in the very first round. There was so much excitement watching him that night, not only because of how many balls he crushed but also because baseball fans who learned of his story that year were rooting for him. He was eventually outhit by Justin Moreau in the final round and did not take home the title, however, his performance was one for the ages.
