Bobby Abreu has such a memorable performance at Comerica Park in 2005. The veteran outfielder hit 24 bombs in the first round and another six in the semifinals beating the record of 27 for the most homers in the Derby held by Miguel Tejada. Abreu defeated Ivan Rodriguez in the finals and the new record of most home runs in the Derby stood for another three years until it was broken by a certain Rangers outfielder.
