Black Mass, Scott Cooper
Warner Bros. has really high hopes for Black Mass, which will be screened in Toronto and Venice. The film hits theaters on Sept. 18 and stars Johnny Depp as Whitey Bulger. Yes, Depp’s latest films have been the butt of jokes, but it looks like he’s really put everything on the line to play Bulger here. He’s also got some fantastic supporting players, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Kevin Bacon, Adam Scott, Corey Stoll and Joel Edgerton.
