Steve Jobs, Danny Boyle
Even though I don’t use Apple products, I’m interested in seeing how Danny Boyle directs an Aaron Sorkin script. There have been few writer/director combos that clicked so well like David Fincher and Sorkin on The Social Network. Since that pairing didn’t come to fruition on Universal’s Steve Jobs (which was actually at Sony at one point) and Boyle is a much different filmmaker compared to Fincher, the final product should be intriguing. The movie was chosen as the centerpiece screening at NYFF. The movie hits theaters on Oct. 9.
