Suicide Squad shows Will Smith both as Deadshot and Floyd Lawton. It is clear that Lawton’s backstory will be explored and we might be able to see what has driven him towards becoming Deadshot, the villain that never misses. That transformation from Lawton to Deadshot is captivating. Smith appears to be returning to his action star form with this role and it’s refreshing.
For fans looking to see the full Deadshot costume, this trailer doesn’t disappoint. It shows Smith propelling down a building, mask and all, and we also see him in costume without the iconic mask. It makes sense with a star like Smith that his face wouldn’t be covered throughout the whole film.
