5. Mader on Zelena
When Brown told Mader that she scares her, Mader said, “You should be scared!” After that, Brown asked her what it was like playing a character like Zelena. Mader’s face lit up as she, rather appropriately, said, “It’s been wicked!” It was a comment that came so naturally, I don’t think she even realized she said it. She vivaciously continued explaining how much fun Zelena is to play and that it was the best role she’s ever had. “I love playing someone just so bat shit crazy,” she added, followed by “Zelena is a complete psychopath...but she thinks she’s so delightful!” When you look at her facial expressions below, you have to agree that Zelena is the best character for Mader.
