'Once Upon a Time' top 10 SDCC quotes to help relieve your hiatus woes

1. The sound of music

The Enchanted Forest is alive, with the sound of music, or at least that’s what Brown wants. As she has previously expressed this desire, she told Kitsis and Horowitz that they either needed to go ahead and make a Once Upon a Time musical episode, or stop adding musical cast members. (If you are not aware of what she means, then check out our sampling on the following page.) Coincidently, sharing their musical talents has been so frequently requested between Fairy Tales III and Ever After, that Lana Parrilla proposed that the cast be dubbed Once Upon a Band!

Kitsis and Horowitz agreed that they don’t know where to begin, and called upon the audience to write the score. They did throw out a few possible titles, though, such as “It’s beginning to look a lot like there’s a dark curse coming,” and “It’s time for Granny’s.” Brown’s input was “Purple Smoke.” I wonder if that’s a reference to Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze,” or Prince’s “Purple Rain.” Either way, it would be interesting to see what they would do with such a prospect, and Once Upon a Spoiler has a great suggestion for them.
