While the DeAndre Jordan fiasco continues, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and ESPN basketball reporter Chris Broussard got into a heated Twitter battle over Broussard’s reporting on social media.
First some background: The Los Angeles Clippers have wooed Jordan back after he was going to initially sign with the Mavs. Soruces told ESPN that Jordan met with his Clippers teammates at his Houston home and he plans to renege his Friday commitment to a four-year, $80 million max deal with the Mavs. That way, he can sign an even better deal with the Clippers. Dallas reportedly hasn’t heard anything from Jordan since Tuesday.
Broussard claimed on Twitter last night that his sources told him that Cuban is “beside himself” and was driving around downtown Dallas and was asking Jordan’s relatives for his address. Later, Broussard corrected himself, writing that Cuban was driving around Houston.
Cuban told Deadpsin through his Cyberdust messaging app that only he uses that Broussard’s reports were “ridiculous” and that he was in a hotel all day.
Cuban saved even more fire for Twitter, where he wrote to Broussard, “that's is the dumbest s**t Ive ever heard. If you had any ethics u would msg me and I will give u his address.”

Just a few moments ago, Broussard shot back:
@mcuban if you had the address last night, you would've gone to the house. I stand by my multiple sources who had u calling & texting them
— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) July 9, 2015
@mcuban you didn't fly to Houston to text all night, did you?

Of course, this begs the question: If Deadspin could get a hold of Cuban so quickly, why didn’t Broussard take a minute to contact Cuban before tweeting this report?
