While FX has been putting out plenty of little teasers for the second season of Fargo, the network has finally released a full, two-minute trailer. Showrunner Noah Hawley’s ongoing pursuit to bring the Coen Brothers’ world to television takes him to the funky late 1970s.

The trailer teases the season’s main crime, which takes place in Souix Falls in 1979. Patrick Wilson, who plays the younger version of Lou Solverson, is on the case, but he’s run into some trouble with a crime boss, played by Jean Smart. Meanwhile, a nearly unrecognizable Kirsten Dunst plays a beautician hoping to better her life and Jesse Plemons is her husband.
Ted Danson, Nick Offerman, Cristin Milioti, Bruce Campbell, Kieran Culkin, Brad Garrett, Jeffrey Donovan and Bokeem Woodbine co-star.
The new season of Fargo starts in October. The first season was critically acclaimed and even won the Emmy for Outstanding Miniseries and the Golden Globe for Best Mini-Series/TV movie last year.
