Enrique Iglesias was arrested in Miami after getting pulled over by police. He allegedly tried to get out of the driver’s seat, but police saw the failed magic act.
Iglesias was pulled over in May for driving in a closed express lane, reports TMZ. After he pulled over, the singer tried to sneak into the back seat while his passenger tried to get into the driver’s seat. Apparently, Iglesias was driving with a suspended license.
Iglesias and his passenger, who was his tour manager, were both charged with obstruction of justice and pleaded not guilty. Iglesias was also charged with driving with a suspended license and pleaded not guilty to that charge as well.
According to Us Weekly, both men are due in court again on July 10.
The incident apparently happened before his May 30 concert in Tijuana, where his hand was injured by a drone he reached for during the show. He required reconstructive surgery and then thanked fans for their support on Instagram.
