This one is also currently in production and will be directed by Iron Man’s Jon Favreau. The film will be mostly animated, with a live-action Mowgli played by newcomer Neel Sethi. Disney has come up with an incredible group of A-listers to voice the animals, including Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, Lupita Nyong’o and Christopher Walken. It opens on April 15.
(Disney did make a live action Jungle Book in 1994.)
