AMC released a collection of new photos from Fear The Walking Dead to tease the first spin-off from the network’s most successful show. There’s no gory images of zombies, but just they preview the family drama.
The network doled out the photos to different sites. Variety’s photo looks like it could be from any family drama show, with English teacher Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) sitting in a car and looking at Madison Clark’s teenage kids, Nick (Frank Dillane) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey).

IGN’s photo shows two other main characters, Liza (Elizabeth Rodriguez) and Christopher (Lorenzo James Henrie). Liza is Travis’ ex-wife and Christopher is another one of his sons.
Over at ComicBook.com, there’s a photo of Mercedes Mason (Ofelia Salazar), a nursing student.

Lastly, Entertainment Weekly got a photo of Travis and school guidance counselor Madison (Kim Dickens). Behind them is Nick and Alicia.

All these photos highlight the family drama that was hinted at during the Comic-Con trailer earlier this month. The series, which debuts on Aug. 23, is set during the early days of the zombie apocalypse in Los Angeles.
As for the main Walking Dead, that series resumes on Oct. 11.
