Rapper Rick Ross has been arrested on possession of marijuana charges on Wednesday after getting pulled over in Atlanta, Georgia.

He was initially pulled over in his Bentley for having illegal window tints, but the arresting officer smelled marijuana and found five joints in his car.

Ross, real name William Leonard Roberts II, was then booked at Fayette County jail that afternoon, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Allen Stevens confirmed to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

This is Ross’ fourth arrest for possession of marijuana in a fourth state. He was arrested in Florida in 2008, Louisiana in 2011 and again in 2013 in North Carolina.

Ross stayed behind bars until 11pm on Wednesday then posted bail.

“Will you have to make any accommodations for him in the jail because of his celebrity?,” Atlanta’s Channel 2 reported Tom Jones asked Sheriff Barry Babb and he replied, “Well, we look at everybody on a case-by-case basis. We classify anybody in the jail on how we need to handle it, so we look at that as well."

Ross is the founder of Maybach Music Group.
