Raven-Symone has been named an official co-host of ABC’s The View, which was announced at the top of Wednesday’s show.
Symone has frequently joined the ladies on the panel but not without some controversies, like the time she said she would rather see Rosa Parks on a $20 bill over Harriet Tubman.
In a statement, Symone said joining the other ladies as co-host will be a “wonderful growing experience for me,” noting Disney has once again made her “dreams come true.”
“I have a lot to learn within this new arena, but being the apprentice of these spectacular women will only make me a better person and talk show host,” she also said in a release.
Symone is best known for Disney’s That’s So Raven and has most recently had roles on Black-ish and Empire.
The View’s executive producer Bill Wolff said Symone “brings a fresh perspective on the hot topics” every day and creator Barbara Walters said she’s a “welcome addition” to the show.
