3. Regina helps Emma overcome her darkness
In episode 4x20, Emma and Regina take a road trip. Regina will help Emma find Lily for Maleficent, and Emma will help Regina find Robin Hood to save him from Zelena. After they find Lily, Emma realizes that Lily knows about how Emma’s parents cursed her and had her sent to this world. She wants revenge. Emma won’t stand for it, and threatens Lily. It gets to the point that Emma has Lily at gunpoint. Regina realizes what’s going on, and it takes her talking to Emma to keep her from killing Lily.
