8. Emma will fight for Regina’s happiness
In episode 4x01, Regina has to deal with Marian being back and the repercussions that has on her relationship with Robin Hood. Regina understands that Robin made a marital vow to Marian, and so Regina gives up. She doesn’t think she’ll ever have a happy ending. No matter how hard she tries, she’s still a villain and villains don’t get happy endings. Emma knows better. She tracks Regina down to give her a pep talk about fighting for her happiness. Regina won’t open the door, and doesn’t say a word, but Emma knows she’s there. She tells Regina that if Regina won’t fight for herself, she’ll fight for Regina!
