Kim Kardashian revealed on the mid-season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that after over a year of fertility struggles, she’s expecting her second child with husband Kanye West.
She revealed her second pregnancy at the end of the episode during a promo for what’s coming up this season.
She’s seen beaming from ear-to-ear telling her sister, Khloe Kardashian, “I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!”
Kardashian, 34, is now opening up about the pregnancy in the July issue of Glamour, saying, "I'm a completely different person...If it all went away, and I was just a mom, I would love my life."
She also described the process of getting pregnant the second time, calling it a “roller coaster.”
“There are definitely times when I walked out [of the doctor's office] hysterically crying, and other times when I was like, 'OK, everything's looking good—it's going to be this month!'" she said.
The first time around, getting pregnant was completely unexpected. It came at a time when she was going through an “awful divorce” from Kris Humphries.
“Kanye and I had just been dating for seven months—granted, we knew each other for a decade—and I was like, 'I can't do this. It's not the right time,” she admitted, but it ended up being “the biggest lesson, and the biggest joy of my life."
“North has taught me patience,” she said. “There's nothing I wouldn't do for her. And nothing I wouldn't do for my husband. She's empowered us to want to be the best parents and the best spouses.”
