CNN anchor Don Lemon, who seems to only be able to breathe when people are angry with him, made another controversial and idiotic decision last night. He held up a sign with the uncensored n-word, with a prompt on the screen that asked “Does this offend you?”

Lemon did this at the very top of his show last night, when he mentioned the two big topics of the day - South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley calling for the Confederate battle flag to be taken down and President Obama using the n-word during a podcast with comedian Marc Maron. First, Lemon held up the Confederate battle flag as he talked about Haley, then picked up a black sign with the n-word.
Obama used the word during a frank discussion on racism, noting that the country is “not cured of it.” The president continued, “And it's not just a matter of it not being polite to say n***er in public. That's not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It's not just a matter of overt discrimination.”
CNN then played the clip from Maron’s podcast without censoring the word.
The Internet quickly picked up on Lemon’s card, with Gawker even asking readers if Lemon has “lost his goddamn mind.” Twitter users also created a meme of the scene, notes The Huffington Post.
