While the price is always right, the prize can occasionally be wrong. That was the case for Danielle, a wheelchair-bound woman who was on The Price Is Right today. She got the price right, but the prize was awkward.
Danielle finally got onstage and played the 1RightPrice game, in which she had to correctly guess the price of one of two prizes and she still wins both prizes. The prizes were a treadmill and a sauna. She correctly got the sauna’s retail price and won the game.
Host Drew Carey, the models and announcer George Gray clearly didn’t immediately get the irony or why the situation was incredibly awkward. And, as Zap2It points out, Danielle thought it was hilarious. However, everyone at home did and pointed out the weirdness of it all on Twitter.
